The next International Anglicans Ablaze Conference hosted by Growing the Church on behalf of Anglicans Ablaze will be from 2 - 5 July in Johannesburg, South Africa, and you don’t want to miss it! We have lined up an amazing group of speakers and workshop leaders, and it gives us much joy and pleasure to announce that Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, will be a keynote speaker. We will also be offering a major youth component for young people and youth leaders.
We are delighted that Bishop Steve Moreo will serve as the conference host. We are grateful for Bishop Steve's hospitality to host this conference in his diocese and for his willingness to serve as conference host.
The theme for Anglicans Ablaze 2014 is Hope is Rising. We believe that God wants to fill us with hope and make us signs of hope in Southern Africa and the world.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."
The Provincial Vision will serve as the backdrop for the conference. The Anglican community in Southern Africa seeks to be:
> Anchored in the love of Christ
> Committed to God’s mission
> Transformed by the Holy Spirit
