Vulindlela is such a fitting theme, as it speaks to our desire for God to make a way in the desert, for fresh streams of God’s living waters to flow into us, through us and beyond us into a broken and hurting world. We hope the conference will ‘open the way’ to:

  • Worshipping God in unity and diversity that ‘opens the way’ of blessing.
  • Promoting a decade of intentional discipleship—calling all Anglicans to walk as Jesus walked, which in turn would lead to transforming power in our communities and beyond.
  • Empowering the church to play an active role in transforming education, poverty and health (including a special focus on the scourge of substance abuse) in our communities.
  • Engaging parishioners in a lifestyle of mission—and sending out 10 to 15 mission teams from the conference.
  • Engaging parishioners in a lifestyle of mission—and sending out 10 to 15 mission teams from the conference.
  • Cultivating spiritual vitality, hearing God and obeying – for a Kairos moment in our region.
