How Anglicans Ablaze Developed

In March 2010 Growing the Church of Anglican Church of Southern Africa (ACSA) gathered various organisations in ACSA to seek the Lord. The organsations that attended were SOMA, New Wine, Iviyo, Soul Survivor, Provincial Youth & Growing the Church.

The question they asked themselves was, "What does God want us to do TOGETHER, which we cannot do by ourselves?"
They received pictures in prayer of renewal and revival. Out of these pictures the name Anglicans Ablaze was born. Other organisations are welcome to join.

In 2011 at KwaMashu, 80 leaders gathered to find a way forward.

In 2012, the first International Anglicans Ablaze Conference was held. This event was attended by about 1400 Anglicans from 11 Countries.

     To embody and proclaim the Good News, and
     To grow communities of faith:
Set us ablaze with Your power and love
     To build up Your Church
     And serve You in the world
     To Your praise and glory
